Restoring body time with Cetaphil
September 19, 2016
There is no end yet for me in the journey of exploration through the CETAPHIL product range. As promised, each month I’ll show you the newbies I’ve been trying out and what I thought of it. This month it’s about body care for me. Winter is slowly being taken over by glorious spring and it’s time to pamper skin to glowing health with these two amazing Cetaphil products. What I like about them especially is that they are nurturing enough to smooth and soothe sensitive and dehydrated skin but don’t leave an oily rich layer behind on the skin.
RESTORADERM SKIN RESTORING BODY WASH – This wash is especially formulated for atopic skin. It’s rich formula gently cleanses without the foaminess being too drying. It is fragrance free, soothes dry skin and even moisturizes too with it’s Filaggrin technology which means it nourishes while it cleanses. The oil enhanced formula makes the feel of the liquid rich and comforting and it’s safe to use on babies as young as three months. When skin tends to be eczematic, this is the wash you should be using without a doubt because of it’s soap free consistency. It really is an amazing wash to use, not only when you tend to have irritated, dry or atopic skin because it does not only soothe these symptoms, it preserves skin health too.
RESTORADERM SKIN RESTORING BODY MOISTURIZER – Can I just take a moment to mention how very much I adore this body cream. My skin recently went through a bit of an irritated period where anything that touched my body aggravated it. it. I mean water, any type of wash or soap, any cream, even the aqueous cream I tried out of pure desperation. I was itching like a boss and couldn’t stop scratching, to the annoyance of the people around me. After struggling for about two weeks I started using this cream and it took about two days and my skin was so restored, there was not a red or dry patch in sight. The ceramide technology restored my skin’s compromised barrier, moisturized with long lasting relief, soothed irritated and flaky skin, protected against further irritation and my eczematic-like patches are something of the past. This fantastic cream is hugely successful on skin prone to atopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, eczema and even cradle cap. It is completely fragrance free and is safe to use on babies as young as three months.
These two body products really were a beautiful find for me. How often are we lured in by brand names and packaging instead of proven and trusted brands that actually work? That offer honest to goodness results? Personally I’m a much bigger fan these days of products with proven results so as far as it goes for these two Restoraderm products go, I definitely #SwearByCetaphil .
