Play pretty ballerina with the latest Repetto eau Florale
May 26, 2016
Following in the ballerina pink clad footsteps of Repetto Eau de Toilette in 2013, then Eau de Parfum in 2014, REPETTO EAU FLORALE launches to become my absolute favorite one of the three. On my skin the other two smelled really good but this new version makes me want to revisit childhood classes of pirouettes and plie’s. This fragrance is about movement, refinement, elegance, pureness and femininity. I found this version absolutely sparkling in it’s beauty. It just bursts with floral energy and had me from the first moment I spritzed some on. The packaging still features the powdery pink ballerina ribbon and gold charm twisted around the neck of the elegant round bottle, but this time catches the eye with a brighter sorbet pink. Starting off Act III in the Repetto repetoir, cherry blossom and grapefruit set the tone for the energetic dance to follow. Heart notes of rosebud and violet give the fragrance it’s floral appeal that dries down to base notes of grey amber and cedarwood. The base notes are light enough to keep this pretty ballerina airborne in the dance of joy she portrays with this juice.
Keep a look out for Eau Florale at Stuttafords and Dischem in 50ml at R895 and 80ml R1095, this beautiful new eau de toilette is definitely worth a check-out.
