Crabtree & Evelyn adds to their Heritage Collection fragrances
August 26, 2015
If you have had to opportunity to smell the CRABTREE & EVELYN fragrances you’ll know how divine they are. I recently attended the launch of two new additions to their Heritage Fragrance Collection, Black Absinthe and Parisian Mille Fleurs which translates to ‘million flowers’. Mille Fleurs is a floral burst with notes of lychee, french juniper, pink peppercorn, french narcissus, tuberose, french cypress, benzoin and sandalwood. It is a perfectly wearable daytime fragrance and was the favorite of many of my beauty collegues. I, however was immediately drawn to Black Absinthe with it’s slightly darker undertone. Being unisex, it offers notes of absinthe, star anise, fennel flower, artemisia, liquorice, french lavender, tonka, vetiver and sandalwood. It has a slightly more herby feel to it, but smooth and sensual and the dry down is fantastic. You might think it sounds heavy but to me it smelled like heaven.
The bottles are each uniquely packaged in beautiful cut glass bottles and you can use the bottle as is, or use a Crabtree&Evelyn atomizer which gives it a stunning look on your dressing table. Both these fragrances come in beautiful 100ml bottles and retail for R950, so please, when you’re in the area pop in to your nearest Crabtree & Evelyn store and smell them, you’ll be enthralled to no end.
